The Begnas Lake Resort & Villas, Pokhara

This resort is a true gem, nestled on the hillside above Begnas Lake with breathtaking views. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed, although getting around requires a bit of effort due to the steps. The food at the restaurant is delicious, and the spa services are absolutely delightful. However, the pool could use some attention, and there's not much to do outside the resort itself, making it more suitable for a short, tranquil stay.

I had an incredible time at Lake Begnas Resort, which truly was the highlight of my journey in Nepal. The breathtaking views and serene atmosphere made for a perfect escape after the hustle and bustle of Kathmandu. The staff were exceptionally welcoming and attentive. However, I did find that the approach to the resort could be a bit tricky, especially for anyone not used to winding roads. Overall, it's a hidden gem, perfect for relaxation and rejuvenation.
